- Upload a product photo, its name and a few lines; ads.fan writes, voices and renders the ad.
- 1 credit = 1 second of video or 1 ad image; plans are $14 a week or $39 a month at the time of writing.
- The presenters are AI-generated people, so keep scripts to facts about the product.
- AI ads make production faster; they do not bring reach or guarantee sales.
- Test hooks first and send every ad to one clear page, such as your store.fan product.

What is ads.fan?
ads.fan is an AI ad studio. You upload a product and get AI-made video ads and ad images in every size, ready to post. It is built for brands and businesses, agencies included, that need ads for a product, an app or a website.
For creators, the useful way to think about it is this: the moment you sell something, you are a small business too. A guitar teacher with a beginner course, an illustrator with printable planners or a coach with a booking page on a store.fan shop all need ads sometimes. ads.fan is a tool you pay for to make them; it is not a way to earn money from brands.
A disclosure: ads.fan is made by Premiums Only LLC, the company that also publishes this site and makes store.fan and hello.fan. We have tried to describe it plainly, limits included, and its pricing page has the current terms.
What do you need to make an ad?
The input is short:
- The product's name
- A few lines about it: what it is, who it is for and why it helps
- A photo of the product
- Your logo, if you want it in the ad
Then you choose video or images, a style, the platform, the shape, the hook length and a presenter. ads.fan writes the script, stages the scenes, records the voice-over and renders the ad. Your few lines matter more than anything else here: the AI can only work with what you tell it, so be specific and accurate about what the product does and who it is for. "A printable weekly planner with a habit tracker and a monthly budget page, made for students" gives the script far more to work with than "a nice planner for everyone".
Which styles, sizes and lengths can you choose?
There are eight video styles: UGC testimonial, product cinematic, unboxing, problem to solution, before and after, lifestyle b-roll, feature rundown, and offer or promo. Pick the style that matches what a buyer needs to understand: an unboxing shows what arrives, a feature rundown explains what the product does, and problem to solution shows why someone would want it.
Videos open with a hook of 5 to 10 seconds and extend in 15-second scenes, each starting on the last frame of the one before, up to 60 seconds in total. Captions can be switched on or off, voice-over is available in 30 languages, and both a clean and a captioned version download without a watermark. A video editor in the browser lets you drag captions, add text, pictures and a logo, and split, trim and reorder pieces.
Ad images come in 18 placements, from an Instagram square at 1080×1080 to Google Display sizes such as 300×250 and 970×250, with a clean version saved alongside each one.
Who presents the product?
ads.fan has 100 AI-generated UGC creators who can present your product, or it can cast one for you by category. You can also have a custom AI creator made for 2 credits. These presenters are AI-generated people, not real creators and not real customers.
That has a practical consequence. An AI presenter saying "I have used this every day for a year" would be telling your viewers something untrue, so keep scripts to what the product does rather than invented personal experience. Ad platforms and social networks also have their own rules about AI-generated content, so check the current policy of wherever you plan to run the ad.
How much does ads.fan cost?
Pricing is based on credits. At the time of writing:
- 1 credit = 1 second of finished video or 1 ad image. A 5-second hook is 5 credits, a 20-second ad is 20 credits, and extending an ad by one 15-second scene is 15 credits.
- Free to try: one 5-second hook from the home page with no account, plus 5 credits on sign-up if you did not already use that free hook.
- Weekly plan: $14 a week for 100 credits.
- Monthly plan: $39 a month for 325 credits.
- Credit packs that never expire: 100 for $19, 500 for $79, 1,000 for $139 and 10,000 for $1,200.
Plan credits roll over, and you can cancel any time. Credits are charged when you press render and refunded automatically if a render fails. Prices are in USD with taxes shown at checkout, and every plan includes every creator, style and size.
A labelled example of the arithmetic: the weekly plan's 100 credits cover five 20-second ads, or four 20-second ads plus 20 ad images. On the monthly plan, each credit works out to 12 cents ($39 divided by 325), so a 20-second ad uses $2.40 worth of credits.
How would a store.fan seller use it?
Take a fictional example: a creator sells a printable weekly planner from a store.fan shop. A simple first run could look like this:
- Upload a clean photo of the planner, its name and three accurate lines: what is inside, who it is for and the format.
- Make the free 5-second hook first, to see whether the style fits.
- Render a 20-second problem-to-solution video in vertical format and a few square images for feeds.
- Use the editor to add the shop address, such as store.fan/yourname, as text on the last frame.
- Post it on your own accounts, or run it as a paid ad if you have a budget.
- After a week, compare the versions and keep the one that sent the most visitors to the shop.
Everything ads.fan renders for your products is yours to run anywhere. You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload, so use your own photos and your own logo. What can't AI video ads do?
AI ads save time on production. They do not replace the rest of marketing, and it is worth being clear about the limits:
- They cannot guarantee sales. An ad is a test. Some will not work, and that is normal.
- They do not bring an audience. You still need reach: your own followers, a paid ad budget, or creators who post for you. The network pairs ads.fan with market.fan for that reason: make the ad, then buy the reach from real creators. Our market.fan guide explains how that side works.
- They cannot replace real reviews. Viewers trust real customers. AI presenters are not customers, and your ads should not imply that they are.
- They cannot fix a weak offer. If the product page is unclear or the price does not make sense, a better ad will not change that.
- They need your fact-check. Read every script before you render; you are the one making the claims.
How do you test AI ads without wasting credits?
Start small and change one thing at a time. Try two or three different hooks on the same product before you make longer versions, since the hook is where most viewers decide to stay or scroll. Keep the rest of the ad the same so you can tell which change made the difference. Send every ad to one clear page, such as your store.fan product, and compare clicks and sales rather than views. Write down what you tested and what happened, so the next batch of credits builds on what you learned instead of repeating it.
