How much does it cost to video chat with a creator?
Every creator sets their own price per minute — anywhere from 50 to 5,000 credits, where 100 credits = $1. A creator charging 120 credits a minute for voice costs $1.20 a minute; a five-minute voice call is $6. You see the price before you call, and you pay per started 15 seconds only while you are both connected.
Do I need an app?
No. hello.fan works in Chrome, Safari or Edge on your phone or computer — see video chat without an app. On Android you can also install the hello.fan app, which rings like a phone call; the iOS app is on its way.
What if they're offline?
- Heart them and you'll get an alert when they come online.
- Book a time inside their working hours — paid up front — or a weekly session at the same time every week.
- Send an Icebreaker: a one-line hello for 10 credits. They can reply once.
- Send a Super Hello: a gift with a private note, also with one reply.
Is it private?
Calls are never recorded, your phone number is never shown, and you can block or report from inside every call. hello.fan is 18+ only, with no adult content, and it never matches you with random strangers — you choose who you call.
