What is mytop.fan?
mytop.fan is a creator-support site with a public board. Fans send support in whole US dollars to creators they like, with no fan account, and creators who have joined and verified their links receive it. Each creator gets one page at mytop.fan/username that covers all their public profiles.
It is built for a simple situation: someone enjoys your videos and wants to say thank you with money, but does not want a lesson, a product or a subscription. A support page gives them that option without asking you to make anything new.
A disclosure: mytop.fan is made by Premiums Only LLC, the company that publishes this site and also makes hello.fan and store.fan. We describe it as its makers, and the mytop.fan rules page has the official terms.
How does a fan send support?
Sending support takes a minute and needs no account:
- Paste the creator's public profile link from Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat, Threads or Twitch.
- Pick an amount in whole US dollars, from $5 up to $9,999 per support.
- Pay through Stripe checkout by card, Link or Cash App.
If the creator has not joined mytop.fan yet, their page cannot receive money. Instead, you can leave an e-mail address, and mytop.fan tells you when the creator joins. Support is final: there are no refunds except as described in mytop.fan's Refund Policy, so check the name and the amount before you pay. When you can, open the creator's mytop.fan page from a link in their own bio; that is the simplest way to be sure you have the right person.
Fans who want more than a one-off thank-you can also talk to many creators live. On hello.fan you choose who you call, see their price per minute first and pay only while you are connected.
What does the public board show?
The board orders creators by total support and nothing else. There are two views: all-time, and today, which covers the last 24 hours. When two creators have the same total, the one who reached it first stays higher.
The board is a public way to show appreciation. It is not a contest or an auction, and there is no prize for any position on it. Fans support a creator because they value that person's work, and the board simply makes that support visible.
For creators, it is best treated as a side effect of good work rather than a goal. Asking fans to push you up the board turns a thank-you into a competition, which is not what it is for. Talk about what their support makes possible instead.
How does a creator join and verify?
Joining is free. You sign up at mytop.fan, accept the terms and then verify each profile link you want to receive support through. Verification works in one of two ways: put your mytop.fan link in that profile's bio, or add a one-time code to the bio. Until a link is verified, the page cannot receive money.
Verification is what makes the page trustworthy for fans. Because money can only reach a page whose links are verified, a fan can be confident the support goes to the person who runs that profile, not to someone using their name. If you change a handle or start posting on another platform, verify the new link the same way.
Once you are verified, your page at mytop.fan/username becomes one link for all your profiles. Put it wherever your fans already look: your bio, your video descriptions or your link-in-bio page. An optional [email protected] address sends your supporter e-mails and forwards replies to your own inbox, so you never have to share your personal address.
What are supporter badges and perks?
Supporters earn badges by their total support, twelve in all, from Spark to Eternal. As the creator, you write the perk that goes with each badge, and you can message the supporters of the badges you pick.
Perks work best when they cost you little time and still feel personal. Some ideas:
- A thank-you message to everyone who reached a new badge this month.
- Early notice of your next video or live session.
- A short behind-the-scenes note about what you are working on.
- A vote on your next topic among supporters of a higher badge.
Only promise what you can keep up. A perk you forget to deliver does more harm than no perk at all.
How much do creators keep, and how do withdrawals work?
This part is for creators. You keep 60% of every support; the 40% platform fee covers Stripe processing and running the board. You keep 70% once you open a store.fan creator store, add its link in your mytop.fan dashboard and put your mytop.fan link in the store.
A labelled example: a fan sends $25. You keep $15 at 60%, or $17.50 at 70%.
Withdrawals go through Stripe Connect only, from $50 per page. Each request is reviewed before it is sent. mytop.fan's own estimate is that this normally takes a few business days; treat that as an estimate rather than a promise.
What is not allowed on mytop.fan?
The board only lists public creator profiles. These are not allowed:
- Adult platforms and sexual content
- Chat or invite links
- Link shorteners
- Anything that is not a public creator profile
Those rules keep the board useful for fans and make it clear who the money goes to. For more on protecting yourself as a creator, read our guide to creator safety and boundaries.
How does fan support fit with calls and a store?
Support is one-off and open-ended: the fan picks the amount and expects nothing specific in return. That makes it a good complement to income where you sell something defined:
- Paid time. A hello.fan creator page lets fans video call, voice call or chat with you one-on-one at your own price per minute.
- Products and memberships. A store.fan shop sells downloads, courses, coaching and memberships from one link, and store.fan offers mytop.fan as a social link on storefronts. If recurring monthly support is what you are after, compare membership platforms.
To see how these fit with the rest of the platforms we make, read the Creator Fan Network explained.
How do you ask fans for support without being pushy?
Many fans never think to support a creator until someone tells them how. A few habits make the ask feel natural:
- Say what support makes possible. "Support helps me keep these tutorials free" is concrete; "please support me" is not.
- Mention it occasionally. Once a week, or at the end of a long video, is enough; asking in every post wears people out.
- Make the link easy to find. Your bio, a pinned comment or your link-in-bio page works far better than a link buried in one old post.
- Thank people the way they prefer. Some supporters like a public thank-you; others would rather stay private.
- Keep promises small. Support is a thank-you for work you already share, so avoid offering anything in return that you cannot keep up week after week.
Frequently asked questions
Do fans need an account to support a creator on mytop.fan?
No. A fan pastes the creator's public profile link, picks a whole-dollar amount from $5 and pays through Stripe checkout by card, Link or Cash App. No fan account is needed, and support is final except as described in the Refund Policy.
Can a creator receive support before joining mytop.fan?
No. A creator has to join, accept the terms and verify each profile link before their page can receive money. Until then, fans can leave an e-mail address, and mytop.fan tells them when the creator joins.
Is the mytop.fan board a contest?
No. The board simply orders creators by total support, all-time and for the last 24 hours. It is a public way to show appreciation, not a contest or an auction, and fans support creators because they value their work.
How do creators withdraw their support?
Withdrawals go through Stripe Connect only, from $50 per page. Each request is reviewed before it is sent, which mytop.fan estimates normally takes a few business days. Joining is free, and creators keep up to 70% of each support.
