# How to sell sponsored posts as a creator on market.fan

To sell sponsored posts as a creator on market.fan, you list what you will post on your own accounts with a price, a delivery time and the revisions included. A brand pays the listed price through Stripe, market.fan holds the money until the brand approves your delivery, and you keep 60% of each completed order, or 70% while your linked store.fan store is an active paid seller.

## What can a creator sell on market.fan?

market.fan is a marketplace where brands buy promotion directly from creators. You sell what you would post on your own social accounts, and the brand pays the price you set. The listing types cover most of what brands ask for:

- Instagram stories and feed posts

- Short videos such as Reels, TikToks and Shorts

- Video integrations inside a longer video

- UGC videos a brand can use as its own content

- Reposts, shoutouts and live mentions

- Giveaways, link-in-bio slots and product reviews

Listings can be for ten platforms: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Twitch, Facebook, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Threads. Brands can browse without an account, and the site is available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German and Turkish.

One note before the details: market.fan is made by Premiums Only LLC, the same company that publishes this site and makes hello.fan and store.fan. We are describing our own product, so check the [market.fan pricing page](https://market.fan/pricing) for the current terms.

## How do you build a listing a brand can buy without a call?

Every market.fan listing shows three things up front: the price, the delivery time and the number of revisions included. Optional add-ons, such as usage rights or rush delivery, cost extra on top. A good listing answers the questions a brand would otherwise ask in five messages.

- **Name the deliverable exactly.** "One 30-second Reel featuring your product, posted on my main account" is clearer than "Instagram promo".

- **Say what the brand gets to approve.** A script or a draft before posting, and how many rounds of changes are included.

- **Set a delivery time you can keep.** A late order can be canceled by the buyer, so leave yourself room.

- **Price add-ons separately.** Usage rights, extra hooks or a faster turnaround are worth more to the brand, and listing them separately keeps your base price simple.

- **Show your work.** Describe your audience with numbers from your own analytics, and point to past posts that look like what you are selling.

Prices on market.fan run from $5 to $50,000 per service, with add-ons on top, so there is room for a small first listing and for bigger integrations later.

Tip: start with one or two listings you can deliver well, such as a single story and a single short video, rather than every format at once. Add more once you know how long each one really takes you.

## How does payment work, and when is it released?

The buyer pays exactly the listed price, or the agreed offer, through Stripe by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link. The platform fee is already inside that price, so nothing is added at checkout apart from sales tax or VAT where it applies.

market.fan then holds the money until the buyer approves your delivery. If the buyer does not reply, the money is released once 3 days pass after delivery. For a small creator, this is the main reason to sell through a marketplace: you do not have to chase an invoice, and the brand does not have to send money to a stranger and hope.

## Can brands send you custom requests?

Yes. A buyer can post a free request with a brief and a budget. Creators answer with a price and a delivery date, and when the buyer accepts an offer, it becomes a normal order with the same held payment. Sending an offer is free, like listing a service. Requests suit work that does not fit a fixed listing, such as a series of three posts or a review timed to a product launch.

Read the brief closely before you answer. If anything is unclear, such as whether the brand wants to run your video as a paid ad, put your assumption in the offer so the price matches the work. Requests are also a useful signal even when you do not answer them: the briefs and budgets brands post show you what they are looking for, which helps when you set your own listing prices.

## What happens if an order goes wrong?

market.fan has three rules that protect both sides:

- **Late orders.** If an order is 48 hours past its due date with nothing delivered, the buyer can cancel for a full refund.

- **Creator cancels.** If you cancel an order, the buyer is refunded in full.

- **Disputes.** If the two of you disagree about a delivery, a person on the market.fan team reads the case and decides within two business days: release the money to you, refund the buyer, or split it.

The best protection is still a clear listing. When the deliverable, revisions and timing are written down before the order starts, there is little to argue about later.

## How much do you keep, and how do payouts work?

There are no subscriptions and no listing fees. Creators keep 60% of each completed order, which means a 40% platform fee that also covers Stripe processing. While your linked store.fan store is an active paid seller, you keep 70% instead.

Here is a labelled example with a made-up price. Say you list one Instagram story at $150. When the order completes, you keep $90 at 60%, or $105 at 70%. If the brand adds a usage-rights add-on you priced at $50, the order is $200 and you keep $120 or $140.

You withdraw from $50 to your own Stripe account, and withdrawals are processed within two business days. Keep a simple record of each order, the amount you kept and the date; it makes your bookkeeping much easier at tax time. ## How should you price your first listings?

We are not going to tell you what a story "should" cost. Rates vary too much with niche, audience and the brand's plans, and any average we quoted would be a guess. A better approach is to build the price from parts you can explain:

- **Your time.** Concept, filming, editing, revisions and posting, at an hourly rate you are happy with.

- **Your audience.** How well your followers match what the brand sells, not just how many there are.

- **Usage.** Content that stays on your account is one price; content the brand runs as ads for months is another, which is why usage rights work best as an add-on.

- **Your share.** Price with the fee in mind. If you want $60 in hand at 60%, the listing needs to be $100.

## Is market.fan the right fit for you?

It fits well if brands already approach you, if you want held payment instead of invoices, or if you would rather set a price once than negotiate each deal from scratch. It fits less well if a brand wants a long exclusive contract with custom legal terms, which is usually handled directly or through an agency, or if your audience is still very small and you would do better for now with your own products or paid calls.

Whatever you sell, label it. In the US the FTC expects paid endorsements to be clearly disclosed, and most social platforms have their own branded-content rules, so use the platform's paid-partnership label or a plain "ad" tag. ## Frequently asked questions

### Do I need a big following to sell sponsored posts on market.fan?
You can list a service at any price from $5, and brands decide what to buy. What matters most is whether your audience fits their product, so a clear niche, honest numbers from your analytics and a modest first listing go a long way.

### When does market.fan release my payment?
market.fan holds the buyer's payment until they approve your delivery, or until 3 days pass after delivery with no reply. Once an order completes, you can withdraw from $50 to your own Stripe account, and withdrawals are processed within two business days.

### What share of each order does a creator keep?
Creators keep 60% of each completed order; the 40% platform fee also covers Stripe processing. While your linked store.fan store is an active paid seller, you keep 70%. There are no subscriptions and no listing fees.

### What happens if a brand is unhappy with my delivery?
If you cannot agree, the case goes to a person on the market.fan team, who decides within two business days whether to release the money to you, refund the buyer or split it. A clear listing and a written brief prevent most disagreements.
